Default Converting to '97 front end

Hey guys,

After careful consideration. I have decided to go with a 97 front end on my car. I really like the JDM look and all. However, i am now looking to go for an original look. I have spent a lot of time and money gathering and searching for the parts.

Its all for the better though.

Just wanted to let you guys know.

pic of my car now.. soon to part out the front end and other stuff

I'm a big fan of the 98 front end but why are you not happy with the current look ?

Back to oem is always good...

I got 5 on it

USDM '97 front end looks great, it's unique for a Type-R (i.e. It only came in one year around the world).

JDM front end looks quite a bit more aggressive, but I'm all for what you're doing.

I've never understood all this kind of stuff.

I mean, it's his money and he can do what he wants with it, but the differences between UK/USDM '97, UK/USDM '98, and JDM '98 have never bothered me enough that I would spend money changing things.

Those JDM HID will definitely get you tickets around here, though.

Has anybody ever had to lead Victor somewhere at night? It's positively blinding and you end up aiming your mirrors in the wrong direction just to be able to see where you are going.

Also throwing in my support.

I never liked the JDM fronts. I like both the 94-97 and 98+ USDM front ends...equally.

Or coming twords me .
My buddy consistently got pulled in florida for giving the cops his " brights" it was just the sexy cutoff of the JDM front flickering at the police

Only the whole way out to Chicago during the first leg of our trip to MAM for E5. Not only does Victor have the jdm lights, but they are aimed at the stars as well.

Nice.

I hate the JDM front. Looks like an Accord, makes your vehicle an even bigger target for thieves, and worst of all, using an RHD headlamp beam pattern on LHD roads is inconsiderate to other drivers.

IMO, the '97 front is the best looking of all of them anyway.
