NGK Iridium plugs...are they worth it?
I have a set of NGK iridium plugs, im wondering if they have any advantages over the stock ITR NGK plugs. Im running JUN III on 12:1 compression, how about gapping clearances? Also is it true that by gapping irdium plugs that the electrode becomes weak?

you may want to do a search in the archives...there a couple of posts on them.
i would recommend staying with stock ngk platinums...as most people would agree from experience using both iridium and platinum. as far as brands go...ngk is still the better pick especially for the itr!!! peace

I had them in my car for about 7/8 months but when i pulled them out to do a comp. test i noticed they were pure white at the tips so i replaced the with stock NGK's, i then noticed that my fuel/mileage dropped by nearly 40miles per tank (to 260mpg) so i put them back in and its gone back to around 300miles per tank, so for that reason alone i would say they are definetly worth it
the only reason im hesitant to use them is because ive heard of posts on this site complaining about the electrode falling off after gapping them.
I have the Densos and I seem to get a little better gas milage. Using a/c all the time ( Arizona) I get 360 miles + per tank.
