Default My Integra needs a diet...

Sup, guys! I did a search on weight, weight savings, weight reduction, even ballast (lol) and came up with nothing. I'm working on a grocery list for reducing weight in my full interior boosted Integra LS to get it a little lighter for the track. But also, keep in mind, I still drive this car daily. So far I have:

Carbon fiber hood
Carbon fiber hatch
Remove rear seats
Remove passenger seat
Remove P/S

I have some heavy Rev 17" wheels, but I been swapping to 15" Rota slipstreams in the front on 205/50-15's lately whenever I get to the track. But I will be running 22X8X13" slicks on 13" Lenzos soon.

Anymore weight saving input is appreciated, thanks, guys.

What year is your Integra?

At one point they added a side impact beam across the back seats. Its a black 3 piece metal thing. Take it out too if you see it.

they were pretty close.

each had its share or nuts and bolts brackets and trim to go along with it. but its up there ..

have you weighed them? could be off a couple lbs.

i know my chassis and engine harness with all the boxes and bolts and crap was around 60 lbs.

Update:

Just got back from the track, and I managed to drop almost a half a second off my E.T., upped my MPH, and improve on my 60 ft. just by removing the rear seats and the passenger seat. My timeslip:

R/T - .176
60 ft. - 2.1
1/8 - 8.89
MPH - 81.77
1/4 - 13.66
MPH - 105.26

1st and ONLY pass of the night, I didnt have my helmet with me, so they kicked me off the track for running 13.9 or quicker. I didnt dawn on me to bring it.

May be. But Im not new to the car I run it quite frequently, in fact last week, I ran fifteen times, and my last eight runs were VERY consistent. All 14.1's and 14.2's. And every 60 ft. was 2.2. My launch is always the same, and my shifts also. You may be right, but I think the weight may have played a part IMO, because I never do anything different otherwise. And the track conditions were extremely similar, along with the track temp. Plus, when I was running last week, I had those two heavy *** 17" wheels off the front of the car in the back of the hatch.

But Im gonna keep at it, though, practice does makes perfect, but I do know this car very well. But I appreciate all the suggestions guys, and Im gonna try most of them.

You don't have it.

I don't think the ABS weighs 49lbs.

As of now, dont know, it's street tuned on 9 psi with a 50 trim Borg Warner T3/T04B with a stage III exh. wheel. I dont think it's making alot of power, my IAT's were 130+ degrees! My FMIC is a shitty tube and fin.

But I have a Treadstone TR8 bar and plate IC on the way (to attempt to get the IAT's down), and we plan to hit the dyno the week after next, 275 whp is the target. Dont wanna push it too hard, my LS is bone stock, other than ARP headstuds.
