Default Rear LCA and shock question

i know that shocks from a 96-00 civic will fit on 92-95 rear lca, with some modification
- i know i have to cut the bushing, but how much? all or a lil bit
- will bushings from the 96-00 fit on the lca

EG struts will fit onto a EK with just a few spacer/washers.
but with a EK to fit a EG yes you need to slice down the bushing on both sides to fit the LCA

these are the 2 spacers that came with my EK struts since they fit 92-00 civics i just had to use those washers, one on each side of the bushing on drivers and passenger side.

use judgement.... but best of all cut alittle by little till the strut fits over the lca bushing.
