anybody know any tips to pass smog ??

i have a ls swap in my 93 hatch i need to pass smog befo the 25th

 

get a pretest first to see how you are running I don't know if in NV you need to be state reffed with a swap for smog but CA you do other then that change your oil, make sure you have at least a half a tank a gas and make sure you are not throwing a CEL and also let the car warm for a while drive it around to let the computer cycle all the emission monitors on

 

no u dont have to no cel and had like barely half tank lol i had 1.53 and the limit is 1.2 for the high speed test

i heard sticking steal wool into ur exhaust helps lol

 

if you are worried about failing you can get a new cat right before you go and you will probably pass with flying colors but by the next smog you will have to do the same if you are having any problems with the car...that s the best advice I can give you lol sorry
