I lost my key!!!
you have no spares (keys or alarm remote) whatsoever?
do you still have the stock key tag w/ the key #? if so get a buddy to drive u around to the dealer and bring that down to the dealer along w/ proof of ownership (registration, bill of sale, title, insurance card, etc) and some form if ID's (drivers license, credit card w/ your name, or SS card or something)...
if you lost that tag... copy down your VIN # (can be seen from outside of car.. look at your lower dash/windshield, and bring your proofs of ownership, ID, and money... my yours should be cheaper since you don't have the chip/immobilizer.. my friend lost the keys to his prelude w/ the immobilizer chip at a club/party and it was like $300+ to make keys..
as for the alarm.. after you get your key made.. when you open your door your alarm will go off (since you don't have the remote to disarm it.. ).. when its going off.. stick the key in the ignition turn it to the "ON" position (2 clicks of the key) then make ur alarm go into valet mode.. not sure what kind of alarm you have.. but in most cases.. w/ the key in the ON position.. you press the hidden switch that your installer SHOULD have discussed w/ you the placement.. after you press the hidden valet switch the alarm should stop sounding and turn off..
if you have a Clifford like I do w/ the coded valet.. when u enter ur car.. turn the key to ON>. then enter your code (numberical code) and when the code is correctly entered the alarm will shut off... if you don't know ur code or don't know where ur valet switch is.. cant help u there..
as for the remote... now that you have the key.. you can drive ur own car and not bother ur friend no more... you should know the brand and model number of your alarm (ex: Viper (brand) 800 ESP (model #) or whatever u have) then go to an authorized Viper/DEI dealer (or whatever brand ur alarm is) and tell them what brand and model number your alarm is.. and that you need to buy a replacement remote.. depending on your type of alarm and model number (and how many channels and buttons the remote has ) it should cost between $20-65....
then all you do is program your new remote to work w/ your brain.. You will have to enter valet/program mode and program each channel.. if you don't know how to do this either read your owners manual.. or ask the shop you bought the remote from if they could do it for you.. they shouldn't trip since your a customer and if their coo they should do it for free.. good luck

Hey man thats alot of help i really appreciated that...the first post i ever posted that cleared my questions on the first attempt...oh yeah my alarm is a Code Alarm. Thanks for the info again.
yeah just have ur VIN # (on windshield/lower dash) its visible from outside, proof of ownership and some form of ID and the dealer should be able to make a new key for you.. its gonna cost you though...
Code Alarm? k then the valet should be just a hidden button that you press when u get your key made.. just enter your car.. the alarm will go off.. turn the key to ON position and press the hidden black switch/valet switch (i hope u kno where that is.. ur installer should have discussed placement w/ u)... is it a black remote w/ 2 buttons that are black rubber/soft buttons? If so I think I might be able to find a remote from our car that we sold (it was the spare/2nd remote) and its hardly used...
