We all have a chance to make a difference now that our sport is on thin ice. I hear a lot of whining and see some finger pointing. Lets all make suggestions and try to lend a hand to those that CAN make a difference. If it doesn't promote forward progression, we don't need it. So lets keep all the complaining to a minumum. Constructive criticism welcome!

 

No body is home in the middle of the US.

 

There are more cars in that area than what you think. Memphis is 4-7 hours from Ohio, Indy, Illinois...6 hours from Dallas...12 from Orlando...16 from Denver. ONE race in the middle of the country would be nice.

There are 3 races within a stones throw on the east coast.

 

Looks good for east coast, but i would move the Orlando race to Atlanta. thats more in the middle!!!

 

My only question is would you want to add more events?

I think we are spreading ourselves thin already. There were too many events in the past for most budgets with all the racing series. I think if people only have to concentrate on hitting 5 races in their region, they can hit them all and event attendance will be high. There will be Outlaw style and local events to race in between these for those that want to do that. A 5 race east coast schedule is doable for everyone and if you are a big team it leaves to time to get difference exposure at ADRL, NHRA Lucas Oil or Summit, and other types of races.

That would certainly work for a lot of people (including us...that cuts out 14 hours of driving ), but hasn't Florida had a pretty good showing? They should be rewarded for that.

What would be cool to see is IFO and BOTI work together with a point series and then have a joint National final, since it looks like people want BOTI to cater to East/West Coast with IFO focusing on the middle of the country.

then have the meet at texas

 

Final needs to be in St.Louis.

 

i'd say def get moroso on there...they are doing a major renovation and should be done in october... new track..new tower..new everything..

possibly even gainesville or bradenton... i dont think it should be held at orlando.

thats because the old manager at maple groove is running moroso now. moroso was kinda, bleh. it should become a nice factility now.

 

I think that a 16 race season would be a much better way to go maybe not for sportsman classes but as for as a pro teams im sure they would want to see more than 11 races

 

I think that Valdosta or Commerce is a much better choice than Orlando. It is still close for the flarda boys and closer for the new england folks. Also they are very nice venues.

 

Why don't you have three series East / West and Central with Nat final for a class champ . That way it's cheaper for all the guy's gal's doing the racing . This can be run under one ORG . It can be done as an add event with other shows . Act like pros, team shirts / clean cars . Fuel is not getting any cheaper , so think about ways to make it cheaper for the racer (IE) spend more MONEY on there race cars . And not on just getting to the track . If i were king you would all have buget to race on , but mine would be just a little bit bigger LoL .

 

Has Frank from BOTI or Cliff from IFO looked into booking an event at the New Carolina Track? it opens in 57 days
