ok so i was helping my friend fix his car. its a crx. he ran it into a curb, the wheel sat really weird. he definatly bent sumthing. so i took out the ripped axle and the bent LCA swapped both of the parts out. i noticed that when i was putting the car back together i had to have him push with his foot on the lca back towards the driver seat for me to be able to get the factory traction bar holes to line up with the LCA holes. then when he went to drive the car. .. the half of the axle that goes into the halfshaft like exploded. the boot completely ripped and the axle was in 2 peices. what im wondering is can i tighten the front of the traction bar to pull the lca mor torwards the front of the car? or what should i do?? what do u think could cause an axle to explode like that. i mean.. everything looked ok other then the traction bar not lining up.
