Hey, i was just wondering what everyone's favorite set of coilover or lowering springs were in terms of ride quality, while still maintaining good geometry for an occasional auto-X. There are some apc coilovers on there right now, and they ride real hard. im feelin every little bump and nook.


secondly, what exactly do spring rates mean? i found the page on here with all the spring rates, but does more kg/in mean softer ride? or is it the other way around?

Yea my buddy has P.I.C. on his eg and those are definatly sick as hell. I thought my car handeled extremely well.....but his is just insane like its on rails!

 

how are the p.i.c. on regular driving? is it bumpy as hell, or is there some cushion?

 

its kg/mm and the higher the number the harder the ride. 6 or 8 is good for the street. people hate on JDM but TEIN SS w/pillowball mounts are the best i've experienced out of about 4 different set-ups. they were made/developed for street with the occasional auto-x/mountain run in mind.
