can anyone recommend a good spray color close to the stock aluminum rim color. my old DA rims are nasty and need to be painted but I want them to look stock. thanks in advance.

How exactly are they nasty?

My friend was in the same boat, he sprayed them with aircraft stripper, and cleaned it all up and they looked damn shiny.

 

really? I was thinking about doing this but wasn't ure if it was ok to get on my tires.
and by nasty i mean clear coat chipping off, there is this disease growing on all of them. sorry i have no idea what it is or what it's called. Scratches all over and some built up brake dust that will Not come off.
Will the aircraft stripper even take off the brake dust and will it damage my tires? thanks for the input.

The aircraft stripper will knock it all out.

Just cover up your tires while spraying, if you get it on them it wont mess them up just wipe it off, just don't let it sit on the tires if there's over spray.

jasco seems to work for me just put it in a can and then get a brush and like paint it on let it sit a few minutes or until i bubbles then take it off and get some steel wool and bam all new=]
