When wet sanding your car....
I decided to wet sand my miata because there were 3 key marks in it. Light, some parts pad, some parts not.
Anyways, It looks good, shines good, but if I look very carefully I can see the lines from the 2000,1500,1000 sand paper I had used while wet sanding.
Im using a meguires medium cut, and than meguires polish.
All with 10 inch orbital...
Where did I go wrong? big orbital to soft?

I would go over it with the 2000 again just to make sure the sand scratches are light then use a 3m cutting pad then the polishing. Ive always had the best results with the cutting buffing pad. Its either not sanded fine enough or its too soft of a pad
Okay... I have the fine cut cleaner pictured here (5/10 on hardness scale)
I think I will try with a hand held pad, how do I know if I am pushing to hard? Right now the pads have a little black on them (once wiping it off) Is that mean its past the clear?
