Front wheel bearing ID?
Anyone know what the ID is for the front wheel bearings? I have a screw-type bearing press, but I'm not sure if I have the right size disc. It's for VW's, Audi's, etc. Not sure if it will work and I don't want to have to pull the wheel to find out it won't fit.
p.s. I actually did some searches after reading the search "How To" ... it's amazing the **** you can find when you read the directions!
TIA

The reason for my original question... I'm planning to replace both front wheel bearings on my 2000 Accord SE. I found a lot of information about the wheel bearings for the '90-'97 accords, but not much for the 2000's. I've done this exact same procedure on a '96 Golf, and I think the tool I have will work. But I can't find any schematics that show how the hub/knuckle are connected for a 2000 Accord SE. If they are similar setups, I should be able to use the tool that I have.
On the Golf, everything looks pretty much the same as the hondas from 90-97, except for the hub over rotor aspect, as in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1052825
For the Golf, the knuckle had to be removed, and the bearing pressed out just the same. The new bearing was pressed into the knuckle, and the hub fit inside the bearing. Then the spindle went through both, and the axle nut held everything together. Then the rotor slipped over the hub and lugs. I'm assuming the 2000 accord is the same, but I'd like to know before I tear it apart.
Has anyone done a 2000 or newer recently? Anyone have a pic of the rotor removed?
TIA,
