supercharging an f22b1
Just wondering what is an decent superchrger set -up for an f22b1 with stock internals. I heard some people have used a stillen SC from an nissan frontier but idk if that sounds legit.
anyway car is a 94 ex. auto

None are made, just go ahead and drop that idea.

well just thought i would see what there was, no real point in a turbo cause its an auto.
so what would be my best bet for power(other than an h22 swap)?

So you ruled out turbo, supercharger, and H22....there's nothing left short of a complicated and difficult NA build that most likely won't work as a daily driver. What are your goals?
Why does being an auto mean there's no point to turbo it?

HAHAHA! I highly doubt the F22 tranny is anything but tough. mine has lasted through my driving, neutral bombs and reverse drops now for 3 years straight. i been trying to kill it cause i got a nice turbo H22 fresh rebuild to throw in it. My suggestion is to build the f22 and convert the tranny to 5 speed if you must have a M/T although i would keep the A/T you will never miss a shift that means no lost races due to driver error
build the A/T with a shift kit if you like. I take it that you have never driven a high horsepower A/T transmission car? its no less fun than the good ole 5 SPD.

I don't mind the idea of an h22 swap but being on somewhat of a budget doesnt help when you have to buy one $2000 engine, not something you can really piece together.
as far as driving a high power a/t, before i decided to build my accord i was looking at buying a 96 camaro with an a/t and a built engine, but seeing as this will be a daily driver i don't need my tranny to blow up on me.

I agree there probably isnt lol its not too popular to do this sort of project but a shiftkit is easily made since all a shiftkit includes is a few aluminum blocks to replace the detent shift softeners (since a soft shift means clutch pack slippage) stiffer shift springs to make it shift at a higher RPM and a thinner pressure plate in the clutch packs to make room for one or more extra wet clutch discs. so if you know what your doin you can make a backyard budget shiftkit for next to nothin
