ok, so......
I trade my EK for this car on April 1, 2008, I drove 4 hours from Columbia, SC to Raleigh, NC to get the car, on the way there, got a speeding ticket like 5 mins into NC. Get there, take my wheels off my coupe, put them on here, raise the car up, sign and trade titles, and go on about my business.
Get about 15 mins from my house and I was getting off the interstate to get gas and the Oil light comes on. As soon as it comes on, I turn the car off and coast to the gas station. When I get to the gas station, I put gas in the car and check the oil. It had plenty of clean oil. Cranked the car back up, light was gone, started driving home, start hearing a knock and the oil light came back on. Tried to baby the car home but the motor quit before I got home.
The car sat in my front yard until last Friday, I bought a LS swap from a friend of mine that was supposed to be in "good condition"
Pulled my d15 out and threw the LS in the car... FINALLY get the car cranked after trying forever, dont even remember exactly what we did to get it to crank.

news about the LS swap...
It was missing almost all of the vacuum and coolant hoses off the swap when I got it, part of the tranny casing is broken away at the bottom, and...... best of all..... I believe it has a blown head gasket...
When we first got the car running, I kept having to add coolant to it, one of my buddies told me there was a coolant leak on the back of the motor somewhere, I look and look and cant tell where it is coming from.
I found out today when I looked closer where the coolant was going... When you add coolant to the radiator, it comes out of the header, which is not connected to the rest of the exhaust.

good news, just did a compression test, 180 across the board, also saw my intake manifold leaking water out of it so I am going to replace my intake manifold gasket tomorrow and I am sure that will fix my problem.

nice upgrade with the LS. You're not the first person to buy a car built by Titus that died shortly after owning it. thats why seth got rid of it. good luck on fixing it
awesome, wish I would have known about this before I traded my perfectly running car for it. Oh well, it runs now, with a swap, so its cool. Atleast it was just a d15...
more info on the car... it just KEEPS giving me trouble... I have blown 2 ecu fuses so far, both in the same day, I have no clue why. This car is starting to be a real headache. It blew the fuse both times under wide open throttle. The first time, as soon as it hit rev limiter in 3rd and the second time was half way through 4th gear.
I have not had time to look at it, just been driving the car back and forth to work.
I also painted my wheels black, I will go outside real quick and take a quick pic before it gets too dark...
