I have an 02 accord and the air conditioning and heat have only worked intermittently for the last year. I noticed around september last year the AC stopped working, but it resumed functioning after a few weeks. This same thing happened with my heat during the winter.

The strange thing is that neither the AC or compressor will turn on when I put it into auto mode, and the fan will not turn on either unless I switch it to max. Same thing happened this winter with my heater, but it only lasted about a month then started working fine again.

I've got a pretty busy schedule so I don't have time to leave my car with anyone for at least a month. So if anyone has any suggestions in the meantime I'd appreciate it. Thanks

 

This works for the 03 model; I'm not certain if it is correct for the 02 model
