Spoon Cams are pretty mild. While still better than the ITRs, i don't think it warrants the price you'd pay for them. I like the Toda A's or Skunk2 Stage 1's.

listed in order of least agressive to most agressive:

96 spec itr

ctr/ 00 itr

spoon

toda a

.....Imho, I wouldn't go with anything more mild than toda a. Otherwise, just stay stock.

I have been told they are alittle to agressive for ITR springs but I might be mistaken I would tend to go with JUN valvetrain

You can run Spoon cams with no addition upgrade for valvetrain. You can run the Spoon cams with stock ITR valvetrain to 9k with no problems.

Can't speak about the Spoon cams, but the Toda A's (I had them) were great. I dropped the in my old R with just basic bolt ons and noticed a nice increase in midrange power. I then added one of Kenji's skunk ecu's, vafc, and bored/tappered TB and was totally impressed! Very linear power with a nice midrange (thanks mike k for the tuning) and a respectable peak right around 180/130whp.
