Ive been pricing the skunk 2 tuner series valve train and the supertech valve train.......now the supertech stuff is a lil easer on the wallet but is it good stuff?? id like to hear from people that have actualy used thes products....thanks

I really like the skunk2 Pro Series, but I also haven't used SuperTech. You might want to use whatever matches your cams, for warranty replacement issues if something does break.
Also, skunk2 is disco'ing the tuner series last I knew, when I talked to my Skunk2 rep.

What about Supertech Springs and Retainers and OEM ITR Valves?
Not sure if this saves any money but the OEM valve are pretty good.

Last time I checked, supertech only made one set of springs available for the B-series...and I'm not quite sure why your rockers would have any trouble with them, unless their installed height means you need to modify the rockers.
And yes, a good alternative is to keep the OEM valves. The only reasons to change the valves is really to shape combustion events or to give yourself a little lighter intake valve... or if you need the insurance with a turbo and use SS valves... OR if you've bent some.
PS- crazy cam lobe ramps will kill valve seats...not necessarily the springs alone.

they do make 2 different sets. i think they ar different seat pressures. one is a good bit heavier and has a bit more max lift.
maybe one of the head experts will chime in to set the record straight
