Default OBD2 engine to OBD0

i've changed all mounts and tranny but what sensors MUST be wired for the motor to run correctly. I know I don't need the PPS sensor and i have hondata so I can disable oxygen sensor and the knock sensor, but what else can toss that check engine light i'm also using an OBD1 B16 ECU so will it be able to read the RPM's?

yep you will have no problems as long as you use the right jumper

can you tell us what engine you have, and what it is going into? I assume it is going into an ef since you are here.. also, what ecu are you using, cause it sounds like you have a hondata setup, but you are using an OBD1 B16 ecu?

My advice is: dont go obd-2 to obd-0. you will have a much easier time just going to obd-1 on the engine and the car, especially if it is an EF. if it is already MPFI, then you will just need a obd0-obd1 conversion harness for the ecu, and the engine plugs just need a obd-2 to obd1 conversions where needed, and vtec wires, if needed, need to be run.

either way, we need to know more specifics to get you much farther than where you are now.

the motor is a 1999 obd2 b18b1, but I thought it wouid have be more easy to wire the sensors on the motor for the OBD0 engine harness rather then buying a conversion harness, plus i know how to wire the motors sensors
