i own a 2000 honda prelude with a base type engine and around 4000 rpms it will like lock up its hard to explain something is wrong its very slow and if i touch it a little it will speed up but not like it should. can you give me some avise on what i should do.

 

check the oil.

 

Check the catalytic converter it might be plugged/clogged.
