...wish I had sooner. Way better feel at speed, way more control at slow speeds.

I was fooling around in an empty parking lot and was dragging the kickstand at like 10mph. New kickstand already ordered, it is bent a little.

599 is correctumundo. AKA: CB600-F6, Hornet 600. Sexy, no? I wanted a reliable fighter-style ride, without all the work, so I started with a 'standard'. It's also cheaper to insure ($190/yr full coverage vs. $1200/yr for the same year CBR600).

Looks good! How about some brush guards to complete the look?

I was thinking about the sluminum bar style bark busters, but I don't think my bar end mirrors would work with them. Maybe I'll try to fab something up if I get a rainy weekend.

1st priority now is a new rear tire and a trunk. I think I'm riding down to Florida in september.

That's a nice looking 599 you have there. I also swapped out the stock bars on my 919 for a set of dirt bike bars. I went with Renthals off a CRF250. Low rise bar swaps are probably the most common mod done to Hornets as the stock bars are ugly and vibrate like a ****.
