88 Wrangler Sahara needs work $2000 Firm (North Carolina)
Hey guys this is a really good jeep but needs to go to someone who is good with mechanics. (carb mainly)
the bad
-Needs top hardware (not the top itself) just the hardware
-Needs a passenger side seat (i have one from a cherokee that can go with it)
-Needs carb work and tuning
-Has exhaust leak
-Radio has a mind of its own.
the good
-Has a fabtech lift (raised it about 4 inches)
-Motor has been rebuilt by previous owner (dont know the miles. but the body has 170's)
-Also previous owner said it was re geared, but i dont know to what.
last year the jeep ran great, i bought it mainly to wheel and when i would put it on a steep incline the gas would cut out so i put a mc2100 (not the stock carb, but common upgrade) now i need to sell for school tuition. its pretty much done, but running rough because i know NOTHING about carbs. and it hasnt ran in about 8 months. (garaged the entire time)
Put it this way, someone who knows carbs like the back of their hand could have this jeep back to normal in about an hour. re check my work and fix and tune it.
jeep will crank with jumper cables, but not good enough to run home. engine dosent leak any oil or fluids.
this jeep is sold in the condition that its in, it would be PERFECT for someone who turns wrenches and has time to wheel on the weekends
$2000 firm
ill be glad to answer any questions just let me know, enough talk here is the pics and there is one vid, of it running
