i need to tune a obd2a automatic turbod civic (P2P),

its too expensive to switch to obd1. so i need a different solution

will a AEM 30-1911 - AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller function proparly with a automatic tranny?

If switching to OBD1 is too expensive for you then you probably shouldn't be building a turbo car. The tuning options for an automatic trans Honda are very limited at best. Maybe you should look into an edelbrock intake manifold that has eight injector bosses. That way you could have the stock ecu control the four injectors on top an you could have some sort of piggyback or vafc control the four injectors on the bottom. Unfortunately this too would cost you quite a bit of money but it would work and you would be able to tune the car with the auto tranny.

 

this is not my car\project, i need to tune it for a friend,

switching to obd1 is gonna cost about the same as the aem unit. (conv harness $250, integra tcm $50 shipping to israel $100+-)
