Default snowboarding and s2000

I already searched about the trunk racks and ****. I would like a roof rack that is for snowboards but i haven't found one yet.

I really want to get an s2000 but in the winter i will be going to 7springs a lot. Is there anyway to fit the snowboard in the passenger seat?..with the top up lol. Is there anything else you can do.(besides get another car)

This will be my only car for the winter pretty much, and no im not taking this thing up snowy mountains..its going to be a highway.

any help is appreciated.
thanks

roll down the ps window

honestly, this car is not a winter mobile...it can be done w/ snow tires and conservative driving but IMO if you can afford the cost, maintenance, and insurance on an s2000, then you can afford a daily driver/beater to get you around in winter

I just bought a quattro Audi for the snow. No point in putting the S2k through that kind of envioronment.

woody... i never actually drove my car to the mt, just in fear that it did snow, id had to stay over... i did however drive my car and met my buddy on the highway...

heres step by step instructions:

1 put top down
2 put snowboard in passenger seat
3 put top up

i ride a 158 and im pretty sure you could fit up to a 165...

i used to seat blet the board in so it didnt slide around, and i kept it in a board bag so it didnt rip the top...

my bad i forgot this was English class.

i looked at trunk racks..how they fit, can they hold snowboards, price, etc. The "****" is anything else i can use to hold a snowboard. for example i found some suction cup holder.

thanks killa. Boardbags are pretty big so im pretty sure it would be able to fit.

How do we know if your snowboard fits? I don't snowboard, but I'm going to guess that they aren't all one length. Just a guess though. ... just a guess...

Just go rent a car, one good slip of hand and dent on the rack would cost you way more than a day's rental on good mpg chevy rental

not to mention you can pretty much get your sh-t jacked if you are using a trunk rack, good luck finding your board once it's gone

exactly what i do (and will be doing in a couple of weeks) - too much dirt and $hit gets on my boots and board - wouldn't risk it in my car. plus the edge of my board is sharp as a die in case i bump into skiers - wouldn't want it anywhere near my seats/roof

Just buy a board bag. It'll protect your interior from your edges. My board is 165, it fits without any problems with the top down. Just slide the top end over your secret compartment and the bottom fits neatly in the passenger footwell. Piece of cake. Driving there is the hard part.

maybe mine is a 155. I didn't go out once this year because last year I fell on my back off a hand rail. I'm 6 foot and 155 pounds I guess my board is kinda big for me...

yikes... ive had my fair share of injuries:

broken arm, dislocated shoulder off a 50ft gap... i landed directly on my shoulder from about 10-12 ft in the air and i was cruising...

broken wrist, landed on my back on a table top except my right arm was underneath it and it got swallowed up
