Default Head Swap?

My buddy has a f22a4 motor and he was wondering if we took the head off of a f22b1 motor cause it has vtec, if that is basically like doing the mini me swap of d-series also if anyone has a write up on doing this swap let me know.

Also is the f22a4 motor good for boost?

Thanks alot
Chance

yeah, the same idea. Taking a non-vtec motor and swapping on a vtec head. There is info on this in the FAQ that is stickied up top.

If you plan on boosting though you may just want to stay with the F22Ax series head as I've read those heads have better flowing capabilities.
