You'll get what you pay for it. (Poop) Everyone says their stuff is the best quality compare to others, but how come you dont see 90% of all that stuff anywhere but e-bay?
You always have to modify every part you buy, cuz they are made so cheaply. I would buy new or used name brand parts. AEM, Tein, Tanabe, Suspension Techniques, Brembo, Greddy, Apexi. Plus there is always a Summit Racing catalog with pretty good prices and basically everything you need.

I have bought over 75 items from ebay for my 94 accord coupe, probably another 7 or 8 for my speed6 and a few more for my xterra. I dont see any issue of buying things from ebay. I think out of those nearly 100 transactions i've experienced one bad seller. I dont think thats bad odds. I bought JDM fogs, headlights, retractable mirrors, the entire interior of an Acura CL, a complete rear disc conversion from an Acura CL. I mean, in saying all of this I mean that your options are practically endless.
You just have to watch for foreign sellers, especially those who sell JDM parts and arent from Japan. Other small things like their rating percentage. I try to stick with people who are 100% or if they are a power seller, anything above 98 isnt horrible. It really depends on what you're buying.

I got my strut tower bar off of ebay from toy auto and they did an amazing job with customer service and all and it fir perfectly and everything, I havent had any problems with ebay stuff yet!
for ebay stuff!
for ebay stuff!
Thank you MuffinMan. Ebay is nothing but a junk yard of doo-doo parts in polished condition, if you want me to explain it that way. Yeah you got over 75 parts for your Accord (thanx for advertising your cars btw), but what did you get? Spark plugs, light bulbs and valve stem caps?
If you read the ORIGINAL question, I believe he asked about performance parts that you can buy from ebay not used auto parts from dealers.
I bought alot of "polished" crap from e-bay, strut tower braces, headers, CAIs. And guess what? Every single thing you have to modify. Every bracket you need is bent the wrong way, bolt holes not aligning and udw talk about quality of the product.
"CONFLICTED"----out of 75 items U bought 4 yr Accord, did u buy a CAI? and if you did, what are the problems you had with it during instalation and now.

Just because it's on ebay doesn't make it crap. There's plenty of quality name-brand components available. You just need to watch out for cheap knock-offs, like turbos. The cheap turbos on ebay are sleeve bearing second-hand look-alikes. That doesn't mean all the turbos on ebay are crap. Turbonetics, garett, etc dual ball bearing turbos are all on ebay.
Ebay has really nice stuff sometimes, too, like the original factory JDM seats, doors, etc for some cars like the CRX, etc.

Please reread my statement. These are all used items. And the remainder of what you list are all a very small portion of what ebay has. Search for anything and 75% of it is ebay garbage with 25% being useful.
I never said I hadn't bought stuff off ebay - my headlights, wheels, strut bars, etc have all been purchased there but carefully selected through the tons of crap.

Same goes towards you.

I have actually purchased 3 from ebay sellers. 2 were AEM CAI and one was a Fujita CAI. They were perfect, took me about 15 minutes to install. Thanks for asking. They were all brand new and priced lower than any of the internet re-sellers, so all-in-all I did quite well. I've bought other items, I think of them all the only thing I had an issue with was a Mugen front grill, otherwise, everything was kosher.
If you are intelligent, you can buy things from ebay without issue and have it be quality.
