okay it could be a short. the wire ansulator has been damged causing current to flow to both when u actuate your turn sinal and or u have a bad multi switch.
Your blinker fluid hoses are leaking. Replace the hoses and top em off with fresh blinker fluid. Be sure you ask for fresh, not recycled fluid.
Ok ok, real advice? Does the left side come on when you turn on the right side as well, or is it only when you do the right side? It's likely a bad turn signal switch.

Change your ICU, I just fixed mine buy swapping mine with one from a CRX at a local junk yard. If you don't know where its at I have pics
ICU pics

-Disconnect you negative battery cable.
-Locate your fuse panel and remove the two nuts securing it under your dash using a 10mm socket

-Gently pull your fuse panel forward, the ICU is on the rear left of the fuse panel (the gray box with a b on it).

-Remove the ICU by inserting a flat head under the fastener it should pop out with little effort. Install your junkyard find and try you lights
I drive a 91 civic si Hatch and used one off of a CRX so just look for one with matching number on the front of the ICU and you should be good
