okay get a mechanic to check you freon levels, that be the first thing to do. Also get him to put some ac dye in the system to help with leak searches. The reason the passenger side is colder is because the evaporator is on the passenger side. the driver side is further away so the air has time to warm up going threw the vent ducts. But with a good charge it should not be to noticable.

The vehicle needs to be charged to the correct level according to the vehicles service information. There is a specific amount. Too little, poor performance, too much can have some similar effects as well.

I agree that refrigerant levels being too low will most likely cause your symptom. Seen it a hundred times.

R134a is a greenhouse gas. I think it should be illegal for aftermarket automotive resource stores to sell any refrigerant to anyone who isn't A/C certified for automotive systems. I highly recommend paying a shop to do it for you. Not only for the health of your car, your pocket book but for the environment as well.

okay, this is what i found out, no freon on low but a lot on high, when i press on the vavle for high side, lot's of freon came out, but for the low side, none. i heard it could be the evaporator or the expansion vavle, something like that. what could it be.
