Default Infividual LED's for front / tail lights, etc.

I have yet to find a decent or any real answer to this question..

1. Where can I get (hopefully cheap) LED's for my tail lights, and front turn signals?
2. In regards to getting LED for my signals, apparently I need to install something so the LED's dont blink twice as fast (as if I had blown a fuse or one light).. Input?

I know the sizes and colors I need for my 96 integra (DC2)..

Size - quanitity/color - Location
168 - 2x red - side tails
194 - 2x amber (or white) - front running lights
1156 12v27w - 2x white - reverse
1156 12v27w - 2x amber - rear turn signals
1157 (dual intensity) 12v 27w/8w - 2x red - rear brake
1157 (dual intensity) 12v 27w/8w - 2x amber (or white) - front turn signals

Ive been on a few sites, and the bulbs are pretty pricey. Averaging 10~20bucks per 1156/1157, and like 5~10 for the 168/194s. All depending on the LED amount..

3. Does anyone have a visual or any way to compare what a 9vs.12vs.15vs.30- LED 1156 light looks like?

If you get these, get ones that have LED's on the side as well as the top, LED's only shine in one direction, and cannot really reflect light off of the reflective housings unless they have the extra side mounted LED's. Unlike the regular light bulb which shines in more directions.

For example, your brake light will now look like a red dot instead of the regular red shape with the regular light bulb. This is the problem I had when I tried ones without the side LED's recently.

CHEAP and LED only leads to one thing, poor lighting and replacing the bulbs over and over. I bought the nice SMT front and side mount led lights from superbrightleds.com, it cost around 150 for my whole car but is well worth it. Oh and just left the fast blink rate alone, you get used to it pretty quick, but if it bothers you you can get the slowdown resistors from superbright as well.

I just bought LEDs all around for my car too.. 149 before shipping. 159 after, haha.
Got the 1156-x19 leds (would have gone x24, but they're like 2mm too big for the housing I believe?).. for my 1157s, I got the LX3's. For my 168/194s, I went with the WHP6Led's.
