I have a Accord EX 1991-Automatic-. The car start's normal in parking...but i hear the shift lock engaging and disengaging for a few moments then its stops...and i cant put my car in gear...i press the brake as normally to change gears but it wont change.I got to wait till it happens again to be able to shift . And also my S light has been going off and on followed by a constant blinking

I have the same car 91Ex to get around it use a key to stick down the little key slot by the gear shifter thing. or unplug the ground on the battery to reset the computer for 5 mins that helps for a week. My sports (S light) mode comes on by itself so the car will jump to 3rd gear at any time. its the transmission computer going bad
