Is NHRA officials going to be running the show/ doing tech ? ETC ?

will it be the same as the "old NHRA SC series " ??????

I really dont think that this is really an NHRA sactioned event by any means, i mean are there gonna be NHRA techs on hand doing tech?

All NHRA did was help RMR (NHRA Member Track) put a new event in place of the cancelled NOPI event. This is a track event (RMR) and NO NHRA personel will be at this event.

Check RMR website for rules and other info on the event.

can you please let us know if nopi is done or if they are going to have the rest of the scheduled events this season!!!!

or at least have someone from their camp post something about this subject because as far as we know nopi no longer exsists.

I wanna be at this event so badly it's not even funny, but unfortunately I had some good carnage in Vegas at BOTI, so I highly doubt I will be able to make this event We will see what happens, but so far it's not looking so good, I would say we have a 10% chance of being there

 

To my understanding the NHRA and its employees dont know anymore then us about the situation with NOPI. They are being left in the dark just as we are. They learned about the west coast cancellations the same way we did. I honestly dont care if NOPI still goes on with the events here on the east coast because i will not be attending either way.

to the NHRA for atleast trying to help out the sport compact community by making the press release about the utah RMR race.

i completely agree

it would just be nice for them to let everyone know so people arent making plans and taking off work and travel arrangements for a race that isnt going to happen

like you said, either way i wont be there

 

id say BOTI and NHRA merge hahah...that would be a good series

 

I think there is, I just need to find out what the payout would be.

On another note. No there will not be wallies handed out, just big money and some sweet trophies.

That is good to Hear!! I guess but it looks like some people are changing plans.. I wish Nopi would just make some kinda post weather it was on hear or their website

So I'm a bit confused on the payouts here, on RMR's website for hotrod class it says $3500 payout. You have it listed in this thread as $1500 payout. So witch is it? We are trying to decide if we are coming down for this event.
