Very quick question.
When taking out the pressureplate/clutch/flywheel. Is there a good way of holding the flywheel so it doesn't turn when taking the bolts off/on without buying a flywheel tool? Ive heard on cspeed racing site using a flat head screw driver can work if proper in the teeth properly?
Is there any other "tricks" to do this?
Thanks

Impact to take it off.
And you will need the tool to hold the crank pulley when torquing them down or you might be able to put a socket on the end of the crank pulley bolt and try holding it like that if it doesn't break loose.

get yourself a chain and a pressure plate bolt.....bolt a link of the chain onto the pressure plate then get a tranny bolt and bolt the link into the block...then turn and the chain will keep the flywheel from moving
something like this, sorry about the picture quality

Yeah a had a buddy helping so i just put a socket on the crank pulley and held it there while he took the bolts off. It worked like a charm and was quick and painless lol.
