ok, i tryed installing my SAFC on my b18a ecu (93 integra), i printed all the documentation from apexi-usa.com/documentation.asp and followed everything correctly and re checked it like 5 times...and the result was when i put it in the "on" position, the buttons would light up and the screen wouldent do anything, but then if you hit a button and held it down the program would start until you let go of that button...what do you think it could be? a bad connector? cause we used some easy splice connter things to piggyback all the wiring, and yes someone who has installed one before did all the work and i had checked the unit the night before i bought it offa this guy i know (so i know it all works fine), i just wanna know if there is any special webpages out there or anything special i have to do to get it to work on my 93 integra ECU... o btw the diagram i used was ha-2 which followed my pins correctly.

take it off and reinstall it. theres 2 grounds right

 

just solder the wires, it's more reliable. yeah ur connection might be bad.

 

Yeah.. it's more than likely a bad connection somewhere. I didn't solder my wires, I just used some good connectors. I don't like the ones that come with it.. those things

 

i got it used so i bought scotch locks from kragens...im about to just sodler it in

 

ya, and my freinds totally deny that its their install that was the problem, they say the AFC is broken, but how cant hat be when i was palying with it from the guy i bought it from the night before??

 

theres a way to test the afc out... take yours out, and connect it to a friends car who already has an afc setup. That way u can see if the afc works.
