I installed the JDM header bracket and now the lower heat shield rattles a lot. Ideas on what to do? The bolt closest to the cat. holding th shield it broken due to the head comming off a bolt, so that could be one cause I guess.

Can I just remove the lower heat shield? Isn't there some aftermarket or thirds party companies that make different kinds of lower heat shields for headers?

 

EH, just use the upper heat shield.

Why dont you guys think he should use the lower shield. Then i always hear about people complaining that they scraped or dented their header and ****. I personally would keep it if i were you. Just try to do something about getting that bolt out.

I think I am going to take the header off and get some new bolts welded to it so I can use better bolts. That should easily solve the problem.
