Default code 43 with stock ecu, no code with chipped ecu.

Okay so here is the problem, i've come face to face with the dreaded code 43 in my 94 ex coupe.

I swapped in a d15b vtec after I blew up my built sohc turbo just to get me by and i'm preparing for a move to the west coast in a few months and need this car to get going in the right direction for once.

I recently had been having problems with the d15b on a chipped p28 with p08 maps. I had the have the timing all the way advanced and a ton of fuel pressure just for the motor to feel right. Which we know isn't right at all.

So I got curious and decided to put a stock p28 in it and see what happens. Bad idea on my part. Here is what happened.....

1.) I threw a code 41 at first for the primary o2 heater, so I swapped out o2 sensors with a friend, cleared the code, and the cel was gone.

2.) I took it for a spin and all seemed well, then I got another cel on my way to work, jumped it in the parking lot and got a code 43 for fuel supply system.

3.) The car seems a little sluggish at times and especially in between shifts, and the cel 43 comes on at random times, especially when it's at running temp.

I've looked and looked and all fingers point at o2 sensor malfunction, which is a possibility I guess.

So, today i'm gonna go out and replace the pump with a different one, and try a new o2 sensor and cross my fingers and pray that solves it. Code 43 is a nightmare to trace down.

Any advice from you honda guru's out there would greatly be appreciated right now, thanks in advance.
