I read somewhere that you can't install headers on this model.

And when I go on alot of sites to buy headers they don't sell the v6 headers just 4cyl. I've only been able to find them on ebay, but I wasn't sure if buying headers on ebay would be good.

On the big J motors, the part of the exhaust that you'd normally call a header is integral to the head. When you take off a head, the header part of the exhaust comes with it, and you'll see that it's all one piece.

There are people who do some tricks w/the J motor exhaust, like replacing the J pipes and removing some of the cats (I think they have three). If you're really interested in doing that, you'll pick up enough power that you'll probably stop worrying about headers.

What else are you doing? I'd think that headers on a J motor would be pretty far down the list of things you'd normally modify.

 

Well I am adding a CAI, performance chip, I planned on replacing the Cat, a full magnaflow catback, and the headers as well

Would I be hurting my engine at all with the headers? Like I said I found some on ebay when I search for "03 accord v6 headers" and that's one of the few places I've been able to find them.

And your telling me my car has 3 cat converters? I didnt even know that was possible haha
