Problem with my 1993 Honda Civic DX Automatic Transmission

Problem with my 1993 Honda Civic DX Automatic Transmission
It just stopped on me that other day and for some reason the gear display says its on d3 and whatever i switch the shifter on. Can anyone help me out ....is it a transmission problem or something else that i can do myself.

Problem with my 1993 Honda Civic DX Automatic Transmission
I changed the spark plugs and the gaskets and the engine oil and transmission oil and also the oil filter. But still the car wont start right im 100 percent sure its something to do with the transmission but i want to have an idea of what it is if anyone can help i would very much appreciate it.
