Some idiot was trying to steal my car, I changed the entire ignition now the car turns over but wont start. new ignition came with new keys and I was told that ignition was ready to go, just install. But guess what... car wont start.


PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

 

CHeck your fuse maybe u poppped one. Also is the starter turning or are you getting nothing at all,

 

Check for spark and see if fuel pump kicks on. And by saying "new ignition", do you mean just the lock cylinder or the whole unit?

 

If your car is 98 or newer, then you have an immobilizer in the ECU. You need to take the car to a stealership and get the keys programmed.
