does anyone know how to get an automatic transmission back onto the engine?

is there some sort of trick to get it to push all the way to the block? cuz im getting frustrated as hell,

the car is a 93 civic dx. bone stock, auto trans,

 

just gotta make sure its evenly aligned...

 

just jiggle and push it in, keep doing it til its in.

 

If it is a replacement trans, make sure the dowel holes on either the block, or tranny, are empty on one side. If the dowels are in the trans, take the extras out of the block or vis versa. If you didn't seat the torque converter all the way on the turbine shaft, it also will not line up.
