Default LSD on JDM H22a?

I think I'm about to order the motor swap I've been drooling over for the past year or so from PasswordJDM.com Its a JDM H22a. They have to complete swap without LSD for $2k and the complete swap with LSD is $2,600. I don't know anything about LSD, is it something that I really need in my tranny? Is it worth the extra money? Thanks.

BTW it will be going in my EJ8 or if I decide to sell it I will find a CRX or eg or ek hatch to put it in.

lsd gives you better traction by making both wheels spin instead of 1. If I were you I'd consider the H2B swap, The power of the H series, with the short geared tranny of the B series. H series has longer gears.

Hmm... that an option. Maybe I could find the complet swap without the tranny for around $1k and then go H2B. tHANKS.
