Default Broken piece off of h22 transmission

I recently did and auto to manual swap, and after filling the trans I put the fill bolt back on. When I put it on and tightened it the threaded bottom half snapped off
(where the red silicone I tried to seal it with is)

What should I look into to repair it? Im willing to do whatever it takes short of replacing the tranny case or the tranny itself. All suggestions are welcomed, Thanks

Heres a pic of the piece that came off (covered with metal epoxy I previously tried to seal it back on with)

Well first off thats not the fill bolt. The fill bolt is a 17mm too the left of the passenger side axle in your picture(you cant see it). I would personally replace the case. But I guess depending on he damage too the case you can see if it will hold up.

*Noted. Im trying to avoid taking out the whole tranny to repair it if I can do so, but I wanna make sure whatever I do is done right. Do you happen to know if the case for the f series would also be a direct swap?

After you've covered that little part in that epoxy and silicone crap its gonna be very difficult to weld in back on unless you spend a great deal of time cleaning it all off.

I dont mind cleaning it since Ive got dremels and different sand paper around the house, as long as it is still possible to weld.

Anything is possible for the right money. You'd be better off buying a new case.

Replace the case... OR... JB Wled the CRAP out of it. I think it would hold. I did that to the ear of a starter motor once and its been in my car for 3 years

we tried jb weld. it didnt work so we used a metal epoxy that was stronger than the jb weld. but it didnt hold up either

Did you clean up the area around it before applying the JB weld? It needs to be shiny new metal underneath to hold.

Sup cuz. I went back and hit it with the epoxy again w/o the small broken piece. Apparently it didnt hold the first time cause that bolt never sat flush. Hopefully it'll hold the fluid til I get a new case. Down for a tranny removal at pick a part w/o a lift or jack?

remember if u replace the case, u have to check all the preloads on teh bearings, such as the differential bearings and waht not.

this isnt a hard fix... u just need to take off the transmission.. drain it. clean it. and get it welded...

either have them weld on the same piece or a new piece.....

then u just use a large tap to make sure u have perfect threads again. then done.
