Default 93 DA (Daily Driver/Weekend Warrior)

As we all know, gas prices are friggin nuts so drive my v8 Jeep every day
Decided it was time to buy another Honda for a DD. I wanted something with a swap this time though and I came across this thing.

93 Integra GS with a B16 swapped in. It's got Tein HAs on it with ITR rear LCAs and forks.
Right now it's at my mechanic's getting the A/C fixed, I'm too old and too fat to be sitting in traffic with no A/C.

I've got a few things sitting here to go on it.
Type R Lip
JDM 1 piece headlights
HIDs
EK sides
That's it for now.

In the fall/spring/winter, I'll be gathering up stuff to stiffen the chassis up, swap it to 5 lug and get a traction bar.

Weight doesn't exactly concern me.
It's just going to be a good all around car.

Picking up a DA cluster tonight so I can make a plug and play harness for the cluster swap.

I've got a spare DA cluster to make my plug and play wiring harness from.

Here's the harness and plugs in the back of the DA cluster. Not a plug like the S2000 so we'll (read my wiring guru friend) will have to make it into a plug that will fit into my factory harness.

Added some stuff, got some more parts, etc.
Relocated the front license plate to the passenger side, need to fix it a tiny bit so the chrome doesn't show and put some bolts in it (zip tips FTW!).

Mounted my Benen Rear Tow Hook, still need to do the front. I'm sure people will hate on the polished but I personally love it and once I get new rims (offset Axis Old Schools), it'll look sweet.

Went to Pac Mall the other week, wanted a Skunk2 Shift ****. One place told me all of Toronto was sold out and I wouldn't find one. So I went to another store and they passed me one from under the counter and I also bought a rear upper strut bar.

Got my Blox Oil Adapter, now I need to decide what type/brand of gauges to run. I'd like to run the Defi or Autometer Nexus gauges but holy pricey!!

Lastly, my Modifry ECT Module showed up. Still need a few parts but getting closer and closer to doing my S2000 cluster swap.

Nice to see your putting in work on the DA. I remember you posting in the S2000 cluster thread, make the DA's proud.

Deleted the rear wiper yesterday, I need to repaint the chrome plug but I have no metal paint so it has to wait.

I have too much **** in my trunk so this will allow me to have a sub again. It will fit nicely under my strut bar too.

Here's where I'm at as of today. Should have all the glass work done today. I will be doing a write up about this too.

Thanks!

Well I got up this morning and started to work on my Pin Outs/Wiring diagram for the S2000 swap, remember I plan to do a write up on this. Took a short break to go get my mystery package. What was the package?

A complete AP1 dash harness I bought off a guy on S2Ki.com, I didn't expect to get the whole harness so it was a very nice surprise.

Finished working on the diagrams shortly after that, spent about an hour writing it out.

Next I cut the cluster plugs off and made sure they fit the AUS S2000 cluster.

Then I got my spare DA cluster and wiring harness and started putting things together. HOLY ****! PITA!!! Most of it went easy then I noticed there were 3 separate GRN/RED wires on the DA, all controlling different functions, ARG! Not to mention a few other same color wires controlling other things. All I can say is thank god for that spare DA cluster. With that and my 18V drill battery I was able to figure everything out with out going too crazy.
So here it sits all wired up. Tomorrow I will solder all the wires together and heat shrink tube everything to give it a nice finished/factory look. I may even put it in the car to confirm everything is working 100%.

Spent about 3 hours total wiring it all together, I need a break from wiring.

Nice dude subcribing. I am interested in where you are going to mount the front tow hook so that it can be functional.

Yea, I've been meaning to do that. I need to buy a stepped drill bit and put it on.

Soldered the S2000 and Integra Harness together today.
Really time consuming, had to make some corrections as I went along, so that took time. Frustrating as hell but it's finally done.

The completed harness.

Everything is heat shrink tubed, soldered and come things are tagged so I know what's what as the Integra harness uses several of the same colored wires. I also did a complete pin out of the Integra harnesses.

Decided to toss it in the car and see what it looks like, wired it up to so I could make sure it all worked correctly. This is just a test, I'll be putting the stock cluster back in as I still need a speedo converter and have to wire the ECT converter in.

Here's a little vid and some driving, ignore my dumb comments.

And a night vid.

Getting closer and closer to doing the actual cluster swap.
Got my VSS all wired up.

Also got my factory S2000 ECT sensor wired up.

Stopped by Teknotik and got my rad hose insert too.

Only issue is the sensor doesn't thread in so I need to figure out the threads and get a nice aluminum adapter for it.
Also need to find some carbon fiber to trim it all out, worked on that today and got a template made.

Well, I let my girl friend drive the car last night, told her to avoid pot holes and she did. Instead she hit a small creator in the road. Not sure what's wrong with it but something is thumping around out back (like flat tire sound). It's also being a dirty ***** and not starting (no crank) so I think it's a bad ground or possibly the starter so that will be looked at too.
The CAA guy had some nice ramps made up to get the car on the lift. He used to work for AAA in San Diego, so he's used to getting low riders on to flat beds.
