I have a 2000 Honda Civic DX, I have the panel off, But I still cannot get to the window to see why the manual handle will not get it up or down. Can anyone help.

 

Did you pull off the plastic covering?

 

Yes, but their is still the metal frame.

 

that's all your gonna get...you have to play with it, try moving it up and down...when you move it up and down somewhere along the metal there are holes that will give u access to the bolts to uninstall the window...that's only if your plaining on uninstalling it, which more than likely you'll have to...hope it helps

 

Yea, i have to uninstall it. Wish me luck trying to find out what is wrong. The window is still in place it just wonl't roll up or down when I wind the handle.

 

more than likely your window regulator is F,ed. it is part number 10.
when you unbolt the glass pull it up keeping it in the run channel part 13.
then tape it up with masking tape and then unbolt and bolt in the new regulator. look at the new one to see wich bolts you need to remove. then slide window down back onto regulator and your done. hope this helps. the regulator is 53.25 on myhondaparts.com.
