I put a new Pioneer Head Unit in my civic coupe and it had no volume. I checked all my fuses and none of them arte blown from what i can see. I checked all the fuses under the hood as well. From what i can see i dont believe i am getting any spark. I tested the plugs and checked all my wires. The car started right up prior to putting this head unit in. I disconnected the head unit and i still do not have any spark. I have fuel. Everything in the car works. It starts to roll over but wont quite start. No idea what could be wrong
Check whether the distributor is getting battery power when the ignition key is turned ON.
If so, check the coil and then the igniter unit in the distributor.

UPDATE:
I had to wire a new end to the stereo harness because the prior owner had a chop job in there....I had the red wire with the green stripe wired to the red wire with the black stripe.....they were backwards....so i switched them back and i got sound on my new head unit....
my car started before i mixed those wires up and ran like a champ...
anyone know what could have happen by crossing those two wires?

Okay, you have power to the distributor with the ignition key turned to ON. Correct?
Then take the coil and ICM to AutoZone (or a some other auto parts store) so they can tell you if one tests bad -- my guess would be the coil.
(you need to pop the starter until the rotor is positioned to give access to the screw holding it in -- make take some time)

Coil test came back within range....now im not sure what it could be....the primary test was 0.1 ohm off but the secondary was in the dead middle of the range....
the igniter box has magnetic power to it but i cant get the test light to light up on the two wires....idk

Call AutoZone and ask whether they can also bench test the igniter unit/ICM for you. If the coil is good, then the igniter/ICM is the prime suspect. (Also make sure the ground wire on the thermostat housing is tightly connected and not corroded.) If they cannot test the igniter, purchase one and return it if it does not solve the problem.
By the way, occasionally, the bench test of a coil will yield a false result. So if the igniter is fine, then next purchase a coil and return it if necessary.

You had battery voltage running to your speaker if you wired red with black stripe to red with green stripe. Check your underhood fuses, one of them might have popped.

I looked up the prices of the ICM and its like $170. But my distributor also needs a new O ring because it leaks a little bit of oil....SO i went hunting locally and found a buddy of mine who will sell me a new distributor for $25. I need to contact him today...

I got the distributor off that kid...come to find out it was a D series distributor so i called him and got my money back.....Then i went up to autozone and got a new ICM....put that in and still no spark....i dont know where to go from here.....any ideas?
Do you hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds when you turn the key to ON?
How are you checking for spark? Are you checking all four plugs for spark?
No-start without spark can also be caused by a snapped timing belt.
