Default Bulletproof? I hope so

I got my new trans from liberty last week. It is a full gear set and there billet bell housing. The bell housing is an awesome looking piece and should help with my transmission woes. Liberty really stepped it up on this one. Thought you guys might like to have a look.

nothing is bulletproof, this might be as close as you will get.

I've seen these inside and out and I must say that they are rather stout. I wouldn't expect any issues.

I would expect other items to break first. Looks pretty beefy.

Nothing is bullet proof, but a well made piece like this definitely will help.

Did Eggum Racing ever have a problem with one of her Liberty's ?

If your in her HP game then you may be able to say it's not bullet proof.

But for pretty much everyone else, I would say its a safe bet your not going to break it.

Have fun with it and don't worry.

What is your physical evidence? I know that liberty is constantly changing things to make them better. I am convinced that cars that make big power have problems and expecting stuff to last for ever is just a fairy tale. I am no stranger to broken parts myself and its a constant battle of the next weakest link.

the inside of my billet bellhousing is chewed up from broken parts ? you can barely see in this picture, but the scrapes/gouges are right under the 1st gear on the countershaft. i dont have any other pictures of it.

hes gonna need a wire wheel to get that thing remotely close to clean again. the case i recieved wasnt in the greatest condition either(the outer portion) its also got a hole in the end of the case for the input shaft rpm, which i dont use, and didnt want to bother to find a plug for... simple for me. i put my clean case on it.

My previous trans was a liberty as well so they tried to get it done as fast as possible. It took about 7 weeks. I opted to wait for some updated pieces they were upgrading. I believe they have some gearsets ready to sell right now.
