Default Civic Type R and SI differences?

other then the known transmission, k20, different shocks, sway bar, and springs, what differences are there between the civic SI and the civic type r. can most things from the type R bolt onto the SI.

Are you talking UKDM type r or JDM?

All 5 lug, 11.8" front rotors, random type r interior shenanigans, lsd, recaros. Pretty sure anything with swap over but the seats.

Oh and I believe it's wrong hand drive.

I think really the 2 main differences that cannot easily be done to the USDM EP3 is the no sunroof in the CTR and the extra welds for strength in the from and body.

The chassis were the same. No extra welds in the DC5R or EP3R from their standard models.

The chassis are the same. All suspension mounting points will be identical.

Hey guys,

i´ve done some reeding on some forums and cant quite find the awnser, so i´ll try my luck here.

Dose anybody know if the exhaust header from the k20a3 is different from the EDM k20a2 , so for ex. an catback or a exhaust header, would it fit from a civic Si 02-05 to a civic type-R Ep3, the chassis are basicly the same.

*dont mind my spelling im from sweden
