how much should a h22 cost in the northeast...not 13k right?

 

just the motor? ive seen the longblock, tranny, ecu and harness go from 1900 - 2400.

 

i was just told online that this kid put one in a 5g civic for 13k with aem cai, greddy sp, skunk2 manifold, and new ecu with tranny...13k is def way too much hes sellin this car for 14k and it doesnt go but 5 miels hten breaks down...lol

 

http://www.hondamotorsonline.com has the h22a complete swap for 2400, but if your putting it in a civic you still need mounts.

 

maybe he meant it had 13 kilometers on it. un less it runs 10s, is from japan, and has show trophies, dont do it.

 

13K??? Maybe that was the cost of the car + swap + all the extra's! You should be able to get the H22 swap, mounts and misc. stuff to fit it in a 92-00 Civic for around $3000 for parts, labor would be extra if you're not doing the work.

 

I would guess around $4000 for the swap not including labor. probably around $3000 for a h22 with LSD shipped, then around $400 for HCP motor mounts from Newman and another $500 for some drive shaft shop stage 2 axles.

 

Well.. depends what you're swapping into... Up here.. in Toronto... I think the average is about $6000-$6500 CDN for an H22 into a 92 - 00 Civic.
