Default Dsmer goes Honda

Im giving the Honda scene a try!I just picked up a 98 Ls 5spd Integra thats pretty beat up so I figured why not start my first post on here with a build up thread. I have already been buying all sorts of goodies for this thing in hopes of a nice clean looking ITR clone with a little bit of a twist. Skunk 2 lowering springs and camber kit just arrived yesterday. I have already installed ITR gauge cluster and ITR climate control vent. Carbon fiber hood is already in my possesion, along with a set of 17in motegi ff7s(black with a polished lip). I will try to have pics of its current state tonight so you guys can see what im goin to be putting myself through and hope to keep you guys updated.

Well I have ran into a bump in the road. I took the car to get the alignment done and I get a call from them saying that they cant do it because the frame in the rear is bent. So it looks like Im going to be looking for a new integra shell to swap everything over.

Integra project is back on track just got it back from body shop and the frame isnt bent. But they did notice some other things wrong with it that will be first on my list to have taken care of. So hope to have more photos of progress in the near future.

Get rid of the Motegi's. You'll never see a Type R with those rims. I'd suggest checking out as many of the threads with Integra's on here, and get a feel for what looks good on your body style. Good luck with your build, glad to hear it wasn't frame damage.

My suggestion is 16's. Bigger than stock, but not heavier. Choose performance over looks, and you'll win every time.

I do like the tire factor of 16s and Im sure I can easily sell the 17s around here. As for performance Im not trying to do anything crazy with this car, just thought it be a nice little project but I will take 16s into consideration.

That does not look like a 98 to me. Did he previous owner do a retro swap with the tails and front bumper cover/lights?

its definatley not a 98, perhaps '97 but i say that only for a few obvious reasons. 1. the fornt end, 94-97. 2, the steering wheel is OBD1, which would even go as far to say '95. it has 94-97 tail lights
