****SSR Shumacher make over*****
well my shumachers were in not of best conditions so i decided to give them a make over.
i still need to get the right torque amount if anybody knows it let me know.
i was gonna do a full polish but once i stripped the paint the metal wasnt smooth but very rought and my hand is injured so too much sanding wasnt gonna be good for me.
i tried a few colors but ended up going to as close to original as possible.
this is the first so far took me about 5 hours total from paint to fully polishing the lips and every single bolt
let me know what u guys think.
should i do a full polish on the cylinder of leave as is

i agree. they look good as is. And a full polish on the face would take some time. Although there isnt a lot of surface area, the crevices on the face wouldnt be fun to polish.

its not hard to sand the faces the problem is once u taking the original paint the actual metal is real. the actual process would take alot of sanding to even begin to smooth out the metal.
So true. I'm in the process of refinshing a set of Starks and the bare metal is extremely rough.
I don't know if I should sand it down or just have enough primer down to bring it back up and smooth out the primer instead.

In comparison the Schumacher's spokes are much more coarse. Starks are fairly smooth on the spokes.
