Default 1990 CRX Si CV Shaft

Okay, so my friend has a 1990 CRX Si, and he's trying to pull the passenger/right side CV shaft out to check the ring, is the bolt on the hub left or right hand threaded?

Also, is there an easier way to take the nut off besides cutting it? We've tried a breaker bar and my impact, but it won't budge, we've also heated up on all atempts...

they have standard threads, and yeah axel nuts are BITCHES... there really isnt too much you can do besides an extra strong breaker bar and a long pipe slid over the end for extra leverage... have ur buddy hold the brake and give'r hell... if the brakes dont hold, start up the car, again hold the brake and try again
