Default plx and s300 problems

just bought a plx sm-afr. hooked it up through the eld and ground to the battery. i dont have a afr gauge.

at first the o2 voltage stays around .5v and is right around 14.7 on af gauge(which is dead on from what plx instructions say) through s300. but after a little bit the voltage jumps up to .9v but the afr stays at 14.7. trying to figure out what the deal is here?

we messed with the offset of the voltage but that did nothing whatsoever.

whats the best power source through the ignition switch?? right now we are running it through the power wire on my oil psi gauge.

thanks for the help

by the way this is on a p30 ecu engine is a h22a

ninja edit: i really f'd the title up haha

are you using the eld for the input? if so, cut the r136 and r138 resistors out of the ecu

yes we are using the eld for the input. but i thought it was only the usdm ecu's you had to worry about cutting those resistors??? i might be wrong if so please correct me

i have no experience with the jdm ecu's. i would just pop the cover and see if they are there.

i just confirmed this with hondata. you dont have to mess with these resistors on jdm ecu/there not in there
